New lands, new battles
November 1872. A series of tsunami’s hits the coast of West Africa. The loss of lives was limited, as most of the coastal cities were all but deserted after the first days produced waves of three meters high. Larger waves in the following month ravaged some harbours and destroyed some major logistic military installations.
